MEETINGS - PRESENTATION PDF FILES

The first ever dinner meeting on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 was a SELL OUT! It was an ideal room at Oscars Pub. All Ready for you Catering laid out a great dinner and it was a most informative evening ... and a chance to get together with other stable owners, horse owners and suppliers to the horse industry.

Thank you to all who attended. I've already received reservation confirmations for our February meeting and we haven't set a date yet. The topic will be "Nutrition ... Understanding the NEW science and how it is changing the way we feed our horses." Watch for more information early in the new year ... then make your reservations.

A PowerPoint presentation by our speaker and veterinarian consultant to SENG, Dr. Jodie Santarossa is posted below. Enjoy it again ... keep it for your reference ... pass it on and share with everyone you know.

I came across this article and immediately felt it was worth sharing. This idea of each one of us acting as an ambassador for the whole industry is critical. Our greatest challenge as an industry is to attract new people. Many of these new people will never have had any contact with the horse industry before. We must ensure their introduction and subsequent activities are as positive and professional as possible.

Thank you so much for your interest and support in making the horse industry stronger ... it's really, all about the horse.
