The Judge
Janet Henderson Janet & her husband, David, have owned their facility since 1978. They, along with their daughter and son have competed with home-bred horses in the disciplines of working hunter, dressage and sport horse to a national level and endurance to the FEI level. Janet bred and trained her Half-Arabian mare to Prix St. Georges dressage. Janet became an Arabian judge in 1991 and earned her national/regional status in 2000. Janet has judged the U.S. Nationals, Canadian Nationals, Youth Nationals, Canada’s Nationals and Sport Horse Nationals. She has her medium status in dressage and is also carded for hunter, hunt seat equitation, hack and saddle seat equitation. Janet is very proud of her daughter, Dr. Bri Henderson MRCVS ACVSMR, and her son, Drew, farrier, who served as the team farrier for the Canadian endurance team at WEG’s in 2010. Now the granddaughters are riding so the family tradition continues! Aurora is happy to have Janet be our judge for the 2024 Aurora Summer Horse Show! Thank you Janet! |
